Choosing the right engineering school is a big decision, and a campus visit is one of the best ways to find out if Pitt is the right fit. We offer both in-person and virtual visit options for prospective students and their families. Registration is required for all engineering tours and panels.

In-Person Engineering Tours
Engineering tours take place in Benedum Hall, the home of the Swanson School of Engineering, and include an information session led by current engineering students serving as Engineering Ambassadors.

Virtual Engineering Panels
Virtual panels are hosted by our Engineering Ambassadors and a member of the recruitment team on select Mondays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. when classes are in session.
In addition to the engineering panel, you can register for a campus tour hosted by the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, sample a Pitt class, or sign up for sessions on topics like study abroad and the Honors College.

Engineering panels, tours, and ambassador meetings are only offered when classes are in session. No engineering sessions are held during the following:

Engineering tours and panels are designed for prospective first-year students, but prospective transfer students are welcome. Transfer students are also encouraged to schedule a one-on-one appointment with the Coordinator of Transfer Student Services at
