Denver Academy students have the opportunity to participate in numerous clubs and organizations that are actively involved in the school and community. Some of these include after-school clubs, student leadership, and honors societies.
Clubs
Denver Academy offers a variety of after-school clubs for sixth-grade, middle, and high school students. These are great opportunities for students to make friends, explore interests, and develop talents. Club offerings vary depending on the quarter and include art, theatre, disc golf, writing, and photography clubs, to name a few.
ADVANCED REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for clubs, and there will be a $120 fee per club (unless otherwise noted) for the 2025-26 school year.
Clubs are announced and included in weekly parent emails at the start of each quarter and posted on this web page under After-school Clubs: Grades 6-12.

Theatre Club
Theatre Club is a way for students to learn more about all things theatre. In this club, students will play theatre and improv games and interact with other students who want to dive deeper into the world of theatre. Theatre Club is also a great way to stay up to date on everything going on in the DA theatre community!
Art Club
During Art Club, students will learn about, talk about, and of course MAKE art! Drawing, painting, sewing and 3D techniques are the focus, but this club is a great way to explore the vast world of creativity...a place where students are welcome to share ideas and ARTiculate individual expression.
Games & Such
Enjoy camaraderie, community, and fun! Play popular strategic games, card games, and collaborative games like Exploding Kittens, Munchkins, Blokus, Bears vs. Babies, Sushi Go and more. It's family game night — but after school with friends! Whether students are new to these types of games or an experts — this club is sure to be entertaining.
Organizations
Students at DA have many opportunities to develop leadership skills and join honor societies that include DA Student Senate, National Art Honor Society, National Honor Society, and the International Thespian Society.
