Retreats
The retreat program at the Mount is designed to provide students with the opportunity to pray and reflect independent of the regular school day. It is also designed to promote individual and collective growth among class members.
Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior retreats are held on campus. With a different theme each year, students engage in activities and meditation aimed at promoting unity, faith, and spiritual development.
The Senior Retreat is held at St. Joseph's Shrine in Stirling, New Jersey. This one-day retreat experience provides students with unique opportunities for prayer and reflection.
The Kairos Retreat is an optional overnight experience open to seniors held annually at the Archdiocese of Newark Saint John Paul II Youth Retreat Center. The primary focus of Kairos is to encourage participants to contemplate their personal relationship with God.
