Catering - Dulwich Prep & Senior Skip to footer School Life Catering Boarding Future Schools Wraparound Care Uniform Catering Our caterer Holroyd Howe, works with us to create a thoughtful, vibrant, and flexible catering offer uniquely tailored to the needs of our pupils. Our catering team prepares handcrafted dishes daily from ethically sourced natural ingredients. Menu planning focuses on delicious meals that are nutritious, sustainable, inclusive, and fun. In addition, the team enjoys bringing ingredients and dishes to life with engaging themed events and activities. Our menus are offered on a four-week rolling basis and feature a wide variety of ingredients and cooking styles to ensure that pupils receive a balanced diet, learn about various cuisines, and form positive relationships with food. The menus feature an array of delicious soups, freshly baked bread, wholesome main courses, exciting puddings, and a wide range of fresh salads and fruit. We support a range of dietary requirements, and staff enjoy the same food as our pupils. There are robust procedures in place for families with children with specific food allergies or intolerances to ensure that your child’s meals are carefully prepared. We welcome parents to visit the school’s dining facilities, meet our caterers, and sample the delicious range of food available to our children. All meals are freshly prepared on-site using: Farm-assured meat from UK sources; Eggs from RSPCA Freedom Farms with the Red Lion Quality Mark; Milk from Red Tractor Accredited Farms; Sustainable fish; Seasonal fruit and vegetables; Locally sourced produce where possible. Pupils in Nursery & Reception are served a hot meal each lunchtime with crudités. Fledglings, Nursery & Reception Our youngest pupils in Nursery & Reception are offered a snack and a drink of either water or milk during the mid-morning break. Children enjoy their lunch served in their classrooms by the teaching and catering staff. Crudités, fresh fruit, bread and butter are always served to supplement the main course. Please see our Early Years Sample Lunch Menu Years 1 & 2 When pupils transition to our Alleyn Park site and join the Pre-Prep, they can choose from a variety of hot and cold food from the servery. Our teaching and catering staff encourage them to try a variety of foods. There is also a dessert, including fruit and yoghurt, all enjoyed in the Pre-Prep Hall. Please see our Years 1 & 2 Sample Lunch Menu Years 3 to 8 Lunch is served in our Dining Hall for pupils in Years 3 to 8. There is a choice of hot and cold food, including hot meat and vegetarian dishes, a salad bar, wraps, and sandwiches. There is also a dessert, including fruit and yoghurt. Please see our Prep & Senior Sample Lunch Menu Wraparound Care (Breakfast & Supper) Breakfast is available at our Alleyn Park site from 7.30 to 8.00am and served in the Dining Hall for pupils. Breakfast is a fixed price of £5.00 per breakfast per person, and the charge will be added to school fees. Supper is available at our Alleyn Park site from 5.00 to 5.30pm and is served in the Dining Hall for pupils.
