Discounted on-campus summer halls of residence accommodation The University is pleased to be able to provide discounts for members of the Winton Society wishing to stay in on-campus accommodation at certain points across the year depending on availability. Student Union venue hire Winchester Student Union offer all alumni half price venue hire. With three venues to choose from there is plenty of choice when it comes to organising a party, awards evening, reunion and much more. Rates start from just £21 per hour and bar prices are hard to beat in Winchester. London theatre discounts The Winton Society now offers all alumni discounts off London Theatre in association with West End Theatre . Westendtheatre.com is one of the UK's premiere websites for booking London theatre tickets and has large allocations of tickets to prem​ium shows, and discounts and special offers to a wealth of West End musicals and plays. Careers services All alumni - whenever you graduated - are now entitled to use the Careers and Opportunity Hub’s resources and services as part of our ‘Careers Advice for Life’ initiative. Set up by the University of Winchester and based in the new Winchester Sport and Leisure Park at Bar End, our Clinic will provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment to staff, students, local alumni and the local community. Local Winchester alumni get a 25% discount, so it’s just £30 per appointment. When you book, you can choose whether you wish to see a qualified physiotherapist or a student supervised by an attending HCPC-accredited practitioner. Certificates and transcripts Replacement certificates If your award was made between 1978 and 1992, your award was conferred by the CNAA (now disbanded) and the Open University now issues CNAA replacement certificates. Please refer to the Open University website for details of how to apply for a certificate. For all other replacement certificates, please visit the Online Store and select ‘Replacement Certificate’. For any queries, please contact graduation@winchester.ac.uk Certified copies If you require a certified copy of your original degree certificate, please visit the Online Store and select ‘Certified copies of degree certificate’. Once you have completed your order, please send a scanned copy of your certificate to graduation@winchester.ac.uk This should be in colour and show the certificate in full. This will then be stamped, signed and certified as a true and accurate copy before being sent to you via email or post (whichever you require). For any queries, please contact graduation@winchester.ac.uk Request for transcript Most students awarded from June 2015 onwards will have a HEAR (Higher Education Achievement Report) which contains an academic transcript. This is in place of a paper transcript and can be shared securely with employers or institutions. You can access your HEAR by logging into www.gradintel.com To purchase a transcript, please visit the Online Store and select ‘Additional Transcript’. Please note that transcripts are not always available. This is particularly likely if you finished your programme before 2005, as transcripts were not produced as a matter of course at this time and not all module results have been kept on record. If we cannot provide a transcript for you, you will be given a full refund. If you graduated before 2005 you might like to contact graduation@winchester.ac.uk before ordering to check if we can provide this for you.
