This might take the form of students performing in public concerts serving local, national, and international audiences; pre-tertiary school children participating in workshops, summer schools, and short courses; and staff sharing research, performances, and compositions with communities around the world. The Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) sits alongside Research England’s Research Excellence Framework and Teaching Excellence Framework. It is an annual exercise benchmarking HEPs’ performance in KE activities and is measured through seven perspectives.
