Admissions Process - Arborbrook Christian Academy
Admissions Process
Your Path to Enrollment
Arborbrook's six-step admissions process is designed to help you understand who we are, experience our community, and thoughtfully discern whether Arborbrook is the right fit for your child and family.
Along the way, you will connect with members of our team, explore our approach to academics and discipleship, and gain clarity on how we partner with parents to develop students who think deeply, grow faithfully, and live with purpose.
Start Here: Parent Requirements
Step One: Tour Our Campus
Step Two: Apply
Step Three: Educational Evaluation
Step Four: Student Shadow Day
Step Five: Parent Meeting
Step Six: Admissions Decision
Prior to beginning the admissions process, it is important to understand that Arborbrook is a Covenant Christian School. As such, we require both father and mother to sign a
covenant
as Bible believing Christians during the application and enrollment process.  We welcome believers who wish to pursue a Charlotte Mason style education to apply to our school.
Arborbrook has a unique educational philosophy. We ask all applicant parents to obtain and read a copy of
For the Children’s Sake
by Susan Schaeffer Macaulay. This is required reading for all applicant parents and will help you understand the Charlotte Mason philosophy of education.
Please also read our
Discipline Policy
as well as
The Matthew 18 Principle
for dealing with conflict and discipline.
If you would like to learn more about Arborbrook, we are offering personalized tours to provide you a first-hand look at our approach to education, see the classroom setting, and learn more of what Arborbrook has to offer.

Students will have the opportunity to experience a day in the life of an Arborbrook student through a required shadow day.
The parent meeting is the final step in the admissions process when parents meet with school leadership.
Our Admissions Committee will carefully review new student applications. Decisions for enrollment are based on the following criteria:
Spiritual Compatibility
– Both parents are born-again, Bible-believing Christians who share our
core values
. Parents are committed to training children in good habits and Christian character.
Philosophical Compatibility
– Both parents have a complete understanding of the Charlotte Mason philosophy of education, have read all required materials, including
For the Children’s Sake
, and agree that they are the primary educators of their children.
Financial Compatibility
– The family commits to fulfilling all financial obligations.
Parental Compatibility
– Both parents understand and agree with the Parent Volunteer Cooperative, understand the importance of parental involvement in the child’s education both at home and at school, and desire to be part of a larger community of believers.
Student Compatibility
– The child desires to be a student at Arborbrook, is an academic fit, and demonstrates proper behavior for students of the same age.
Admissions decisions will be communicated via email.
