Contacting Chaplains

Hospital Chaplains
Hospital chaplains provide spiritual, religious and pastoral care in all the hospitals in NHS Grampian.
they are available for patients, relatives, carers, visitors and staff
to listen...to support....to celebrate....to comfort....to pray
in complete confidence no matter what a person's faith or beliefs
This care is available to people with or without specified religious beliefs.
Visiting
If you would like the chaplain to visit, please get in touch with the chaplain for that hospital. Each hospital will know how to contact their chaplain or chaplains, or call the Chaplains' Office at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Tel: 01224 553316 Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.30pm for assistance.
Sacraments
Should you wish to receive the sacraments (communion, anointing or sacrament of the sick) this can be arranged. Contact the hospital chaplain.
Informing churches and faith groups
The hospital chaplains will be pleased to inform a minister, priest or or other religious advisor that a patient is in hospital, provided that the patient has agreed to this. Ask ward staff to contact the chaplain.
