Youth Programs - Museum of Danish America Skip to content Youth Programs In 2026, the Museum of Danish America is excited to offer two summer day camps designed to engage children in a variety of hands-on, creative, and educational activities. These camps will provide opportunities for kids to explore different aspects of art, culture, and history in an interactive and supportive environment. Additionally, a recurring program called Storytime in the Prairie will give children the chance to connect with nature, listen to captivating stories, and participate in group discussions that inspire curiosity and imagination. Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where children can step outside their usual routines, try new things, and develop new skills. By fostering an appreciation for art, culture, and the natural world, we hope to inspire creativity, personal growth, and a deeper sense of community. Above all, we aim to ensure that kids have fun, form lasting friendships, and make unforgettable memories during their time at the museum’s programs. Whether it’s through exploring the outdoors, engaging in creative projects, or simply spending time with others, our programs are designed to provide enriching and enjoyable experiences that will last a lifetime.
