You may
take a leave of absence if care is needed
for a Faculty & Staff's grandparents, parents, spouse, spouse's parents, children, or grandchildren due to illness, accident, or old age.

Target
In cases where a Faculty & Staff requires care due to illness, accident, or old age of a grandparent, parent, spouse, spouse's parents, child, or grandchild.

Cases prescribed by the Enforcement Decree of the Equal Employment Opportunity Act
Cases where hiring replacement personnel is impossible
If it causes significant disruption to normal business operations
In cases where there are direct descendants of grandparents or direct ancestors of grandchildren in addition to oneself
Content
Granting up to 90 days of leave per year
Split usage available, single period 30 days or longer
treatment
Employees shall not be subjected to unfavorable treatment, such as being dismissed or having their working conditions worsened, on the grounds of taking Family Care Leave or family care vacation.
The period of Family Care Leave is included in the length of service, so there is no disadvantage regarding promotion, severance pay, etc.

Submit a 'Prior Notice' to the HR department three months prior to the leave of absence through consultation between the institution and the department head.
