Glavin House is St John of God Ballarat Hospital’s short-term accommodation for carers who are travelling from outside of Ballarat, and are required to stay with the patient.
This short term accommodation is available on the hospital grounds and
boarders
can stay overnight if the patient is staying in a single/private room.
Glavin House is subject to availability, so please ensure you make contact as soon as possible to guarantee a room.

$75 per night
Twin/double room
$95 per night
Family room
$120 per night
Are you travelling from rural Victoria?
If you are travelling from rural Victoria, you may be eligible for some assistance.
The Victorian Patient Transport Assistance Scheme (VPTAS) covers some of the travel and accommodation costs incurred by rural Victorians when they must travel more than 100 kilometres one way for specialist medical treatment.
