Executive Director of OCCS
Lenny Schafer has been with the Ohio Council of Community Schools for 19 years and is deeply passionate about educator excellence and student achievement. His team led last year’s OCCS Convocation, bringing 250 educators from all over the state to Columbus, Ohio. Their professional development theme was OCCS M.E.A.N.S. Student-Centered. M.E.A.N.S. stands for: Mental, Educational, Artistic, Nutritional, and Social well-being.
