The Office of the Public Guardian (
OPG
) asked Ipsos MORI to look into what the public understands about lasting powers of attorney (
LPAs
) and why people do or don’t make them.
The key findings of the report are illustrated by a separate infographic.
OPG
aims to increase the number of
LPAs
and reduce the need for deputyships for people who have lost mental capacity.
