Accept Manage your preferences Mental health first aid If there is only one person in an academy who someone can turn to for support, it becomes a big deal to seek them out. This is why we have trained over 1,800 youth and adult mental health first aiders across our trust, which is over half our workforce. First aiders are trained to spot the early signs of a mental health issue. It is our goal to train every member of staff as a mental health first aider.
