Myth busters regarding caste-based atrocities
Too often, violence on Dalit communties is dismissed as isolated, non-caste-related, or exaggerated. By presenting documented facts, real incidents, and data, the poster creates awareness about the deep-rooted caste and gender-based discrimination that the Dalit community faces every day. It aims to disrupt dominant narratives that silence survivors and normalize caste violence.
The poster also serves as an educational tool, urging viewers to recognize the systemic nature of this violence across rural and urban settings, within institutions, and even online. By making this knowledge visible in public spaces, the poster pushes for solidarity, justice, and collective action.
