Credit, Collections, and Arrearages Reports
Pursuant to
Section 8-201.10
of the
IL Public Utilities Act
(PUA),
all gas, electric, water and sewer public utilities under ICC authority are required to file monthly and annual reports containing specific credit, collections and arrearages information. The utilities file these
reports with the Commission by the 15th of the month with data for the previous month. Annual reports are filed by May 1 with for the previous calendar year. All public utility Section

Interactive Dashboards
There are two electronic dashboards from which data on 22 credit, disconnection, and arrearage metrics submitted by Illinois public utilities to the ICC can be visualized and downloaded. Only data submitted using the reporting format developed by the ICC in March 2022 is included in both dashboards.

- This contains all raw data submitted by the public utilities in their respective monthly compliance reports. Maps showing locations of zip codes with the highest monthly values for the selected metrics are shown.
Top Zip Codes of Credit, Collections, and Arrearages (Annual Averages) Dashboard
– Zip codes with more than 100 residential customers, non-zero values, and the highest annual average outcomes per calendar year for Metric #1-10 and #19-22 are listed and shown on a map. Top zip codes in Equity Eligible investment Communities are identified.
