Crume, Jr. Dr. Gene C. Crume, Jr. was named Judson University’s sixth president. Since arriving at Judson, Dr. Crume led the University through its first comprehensive strategic planning process. The Board of Trustees approved the plan, Shaping Our Future: The Strategic Plan. He has also helped secure $11.84 million in gifts from individual donors since arriving at Judson in support of the strategic plan. During his tenure, overall enrollment has increased by 4.5% and over a half dozen new academic programs have been developed as well as men’s volleyball and football. Architecture Department World Leaders Forum The World Leaders Forum brings recognized world leaders to our campus each year with the intent to inspire and ignite a flame of leadership for all who attend. Previous speakers include George W. Bush, Tony Blair, Condoleeza Rice and Caroline Kennedy. World Leaders Forum Demoss Center for Worship in the Performing Arts A magnet for those interested in music, worship arts, or communication arts, the Demoss Center is home to talented faculty and students who are pursuing a variety of unique careers. Over the years, several artists and bands have started on our campus, including including Citizen Way, Mass Anthem, Graveyards to Gardens, Superchick, Barlow Girl, Church of Rhythm and Good News Circle.
