With a strong foundation in the Christian faith, we offer traditional, classroom Bible courses and hands-on, worship-based classes. High school students participate in a bi-weekly chapel where they hear from guest speakers, their peers, and GAC's faculty and staff. High school students begin the year off campus with a Spiritual Retreat that sets the tone for worship and praise all year long.
Our popular Student Ministry and Worship Practicum classes offer leadership training to students who are selected via an application process. Students explore the meaning and practice of honoring God through praise, worship, and song. They have the opportunity and responsibility of planning, programming, and implementing the weekly chapel service for their peers.
The Prefect System, GAC's student leadership. team, offers a way for seniors to hone their leadership skills while making a positive difference for their classmates. The Prefect System is comprised of student leaders from the Senior Class (selected during their junior year) who possess a high degree of commitment to GAC’s values and ideals. Their influence within our school community is based on their character demonstrated through service to the school.
The capstone program is an opportunity for students to deepen knowledge and skills in a specific area or areas of interest outside of the taught-course model. Students will propose, produce, and defend an individual, guided capstone project demonstrating mastery of these skills and knowledge.
We offer academic competitions that challenge students to develop their God-given talents. Each team builds community among its members by stressing the importance of collaboration. Of course, student minds are sharpened through stimulating, challenging tasks that enhance what they are learning in the classroom. Each option involves engaging competition with area schools; providing students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge; and critical thinking skills under motivating time constraints. Throughout the school’s history, GAC students have achieved high levels of success in earning regional and state championships.

"My son's relationships with his teachers have made his learning experience in High School extraordinary. His teachers are always accessible to help answer questions, and they understand his unique learning style. They provide a learning environment for him where thinking differently is celebrated, so he believes anything is possible in his future!"

Zero-Hour Classes
Online Classes
Summer Classes
Dual Credit Courses
Zero-hour courses meet on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday each week of the semester from 7:00 to 7:50 a.m. Students can take
Performance Training
as a zero-hour course in order to free up their schedule during the regular school day to take advantage of one of our many electives.
Students are given the chance to enroll in select courses offered by our online school,
Ethos
. These online courses are taught by our GAC faculty, but there is not any in-person class time as part of the regular school day. All Ethos courses are to be completed entirely online. There are no extra tuition fees for students who opt to take an Ethos class as their 7th course.
Most GAC courses are available in the summer through Ethos on a semester basis, offered according to student need.
The Dual Credit Program is a cooperative effort between Colorado Christian University and GAC to offer college-level courses to GAC students. This program allows students the opportunity to earn college credit while at GAC. Colorado Christian University is a four-year liberal arts school that is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. These courses are only available to 11th and 12th grade GAC students.
