Our Facilities
The entire collection is housed in two beautifully appointed exhibit facilities, The Museum building and The Collection building along with a resplendently restored steam locomotive and railcar located behind Museum.
Grand Salon
Marble columns, crystal chandeliers, painted ceilings all make up this beautiful Grand Salon Showroom of the 1910’s, 20 and 30s. On display are approx. 30 of the finest automobiles of that era. Duesenbergs, Cadillacs, Isotta-Fraschini, Delahaye, Minerva, Renault, Maybach, many other European and American built automobiles.

What is the difference between the Museum and Collection buildings?
The Nethercutt Museum & Collection are two separate buildings, that are located across the street from each other. The Parking lot is attached to the Nethercutt Museum building (15151 Bledsoe St.)

Admission is $5 per person, Children under 12 is Free, and no reservations required
130 automobiles & a 1937 Locomotive and railcar are on display
Hours: Thursday, Friday & Saturday’s 9:00am - 4:30pm
The Nethercutt Collection building
Approximately 2 hour guided tour only—Admission $20 per person
Advanced reservations/Tickets are required
Tours are available Thursday - Friday at 10:00am and Saturday’s at either 10:00am or 1:30pm
On display are two floors of automobiles and 2 floors of mechanical musical instruments
When can you visit the Nethercutt Collection building?
The only way to visit this building is on a guided tour, no self-guided tours. Advanced Tickets / reservations only

Saturday’s at 10:00am and 1:30pm.
How do you book a tour for the Collection building?
1. Online at nethercuttcollection.org
2. Over the phone at (818)364-6464
3. Walk-in and make a reservation at the reception desk.
How do you make a group reservation for a group over 10?
Please call (818)364-6464. We will need the following information:
a. First & last name of the person making the reservation
b. Maximum number of guests in your party
c. Telephone number & email address
d. Group name (club, organization, etc.)
How soon should I make a reservation?
Tours fill up very quickly, especially on Saturdays. Large groups: (10-50) need to book at with one or two months in advance. Small groups: (1-9) a couple of days to a week.
Are children allowed on the guided tour?
Children must be 10 years or older to attend the Collection tour. Children are more than welcome to visit The Nethercutt Museum building for admission free self-guided tours.
How long is the guided tour?
The tour lasts anywhere from 90 minutes to 2 hours.
What is the admission price for the guided tour?
The admission is a flat fee of $10 per person. There are no discounts. Credit Card only – No cash.
Is there a lot of walking on the tour?
Yes. There are elevators and seating throughout if needed.
Can you bring water on the tour?
Yes, no other food or beverages are allowed in either building
When can you visit the Nethercutt Museum building?
Thursday – Saturday 9:00am to 4:30pm. No reservations required – self-guided
Do you need a tour reservation to view the interior of the train?
No reservations needed. The train is open for tours at 12:30pm and 3:45pm Thursday through Saturday.
Train will remain open for approximately 15-20 minutes each time.
Since it is located outside, it will be closed during inclement weather days.
Is the train handicap accessible?
The train is not handicapped accessible. No walkers, strollers or wheelchairs.
Both facilities (Museum and Collection) are handicapped accessible, with the exception of the Train. We do not supply wheelchairs.
How much time should I plan to visit the Nethercutt Museum building?
At least 1 hour.
What types of automobiles are on display?
Primarily automobiles from 1898 through the early 1940’s. There are also a few 50’s, 60’s & 70’s cars on display.
Are there any special events at the collection?
We have live Organ Concerts, Silent Movie’s and Christmas Concerts. Tickets are $20.00 per person. Please view calendar on the website.
Where do I park?
The Parking Lot is attached to the Nethercutt Museum building. At the corner of Bledsoe & Bradley. Entrance off of Bradley St. Parking is free
Is there any public transportation to the facility?
The Metrolink – Sylmar Train station is approx. 1-1/2 miles away.
The Metro (bus) stop is located at the corner of Bledsoe & San Fernando (1 block away) please check with the Metro/Metrolink websites for schedules www.metrolinktrains.com or www.metro.net
Is photography and video allowed?
Yes, photography and video recording are allowed. Permitted unless otherwise indicated by signage or staff.
Tripods, monopods, selfie-sticks, gimbals, drones, light stands and modifiers are not permitted at any time.
Is it possible to see the restoration shop?
The shop is not available to the public.
Is there a gift shop?
At this time, we only sell music CD’s. These items are for sale at the Museum reception desk.
Is there any food available?
Food is not available for sale on the premises. However, we do have a list of restaurants in the community available at the reception desk. There are no restaurants within walking distance.
Are there any picnic facilities?
We do not have any picnic tables. We do have two parks in the general area. Sylmar Park & Veteran’s Memorial parks.
Can you rent or borrow wheelchairs or electric scooters?
We do not have wheelchairs or scooters available to rent or borrow.
Can you rent out the facilities for a private event?
The buildings are not available for private functions.
Can you rent one of the collection cars?
The cars are not available for rental.
