Not long after, the Office for Global Learning (OGL) at the UF International Center began to offer VE training for UF faculty during the Fall and Spring semesters. This training program helps faculty design and incorporate virtual international content and communication activities into existing courses. Through virtual exchange, faculty can connect their UF classes with students and faculty abroad to collaborate on assignments, acquire global perspectives on a given discipline, and develop intercultural competence skills. Information on the training and how to sign up is here: In Spring of 2021, the Center’s Outreach program collaborated with Unicollaboration to offer a VE training for state college administrators that were members of the Florida Consortium of International Education (FCIE). In Summer of 2021, in collaboration with the UFIC Office of Global Learning, the Center began to offer a Summer VE training opportunity for non-UF faculty working at Florida state colleges and K-12 schools.  The Center’s training has been supported by USDOE Title VI National Resource Center funding and by the Longview Foundation.
