at TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater prior to the Somerset Patriots game against the Reading Fightin Phils on Saturday, April 18. Sharon Byrne, Performing Arts Department Chair, conducted the choir.
Concert Choir members in attendance included Victoria Diaz ’27, Jayda Richter ’27, Anousheh Nazir ’27, Emily O'Neill ’27, Zoë Edwards Smith ’27, Lewis Peng ’27, Zayn Shen ’27, Severian Ekong-Reid ’27, Devin Virdi ’28, Mo Jha ’26, Aanya Chaturvedi ’29 and Talia Levy ’28. Parents and friends also purchased tickets and enjoyed the game. Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the W+H Performing Arts Program.
“The students were all smiles during the whole experience and sang beautifully before a full stadium of appreciative baseball fans,” Mrs. Byrne said. “We enjoyed hanging out together during the game with family, friends and W+H faculty who came out to support the choir. All in all, it was a very positive experience for the students and we will definitely make this a spring tradition for the choir for years to come!”
