Ways to deepen your connections at Sayre
Sayre thrives on parent involvement. Sharing your time and talents enriches our school community. Volunteering your time also gives you an opportunity to make friends and deepen connections.
Sayre Parents Association
The Sayre Parents Association (SPA) is the nexus for the parent community. The group supports faculty and staff by engaging with each other, leading activities for the school community, and providing funding for designated school projects.

Parent Advisory Committee
Each school division (Lower, Middle, and Upper) has its own Parent Advisory Committee (PAC), with dedicated parent representatives. PACs are not decision-making bodies; instead, they meet monthly to share parents’ ideas and concerns with administrators and then report back to parents. If you’d like to be considered for a PAC, please contact the appropriate division head:

Spartan Booster Club
Join the Spartan Booster Club and fuel school pride on the field and on the sidelines. This passionate group of parents raises funds, provides operational support, and cheers on our student athletes to ensure a best-in-class athletics program.

Friends of the Arts
Friends of the Arts (FOA) is a new member-driven parent/guardian volunteer group supporting visual and performing arts for ages 2 through grade 12. FOA members provide advocacy, financial support, and volunteer hours.

Sayre Spectacular
The Spectacular is an entertaining gala, dinner, and auction that raises funds to ensure the school’s ongoing growth. Volunteer your time, participate in the auction, provide in-kind donations, or serve as a sponsor.

Field trip chaperone
Help supervise children, ensure student safety, and promote a positive learning experience. Contact your child’s teacher for more information.
Classroom speaker
Do you have a specific skill set or background relevant to classroom learning? Please talk to your child’s teacher about speaking to the class, hosting a field trip at your business, or sharing your knowledge in other ways.
Classroom helper
Experience the joy of directly supporting Sayre’s innovative learning environment. Classroom volunteers work alongside teachers, assisting with activities, providing one-on-one support to students, and enriching the overall classroom experience. Substitute teachers step in for planned absences, ensuring continuity in lesson plans and fostering a positive learning environment for your child’s classmates.
Requirements and opportunities vary. Reach out to the division assistants for more information on volunteerism:
