EDUCATION PROGRAM
The Amarillo Museum of Art offers a range of educational programs and resources for a variety of audiences at both the AMoA and within our community and region. Quality education programs enable the museum to engage and inspire visitors to look more closely and better understand visual art. The audiences we serve include adults, college students and faculty, K-12 teachers and their students, families with kids, teens, community groups, and seniors in assisted living facilities.
AMoA education programs include lectures, artist talks, studio art classes and summer art camps. The museum also provides outreach programming to schools throughout the Texas Panhandle, school tours at the museum, teacher in-service programming, outreach to senior facilities, digital programming, and collaborations with a variety of local cultural organizations.
