We want all our students to achieve their full potential. With our undergraduate scholarship schemes, you could receive support to kick-start your BCU journey.
Undergraduate Scholarships 2026
BCU is offering
guaranteed
scholarship
of £5,000 to all
self-funding
international
undergraduate students
joining BCU on a
full-time degree
in January or September 2026.
The scholarship
will be applied as a tuition fee discount of £3,000 in year one and
£2,000 in year two.
There are no extra forms to fill in – just make your application
to study
at BCU
and leave the rest to us.
To
be eligible for one of these scholarships
, you will need to:
Be confirmed as
self-funded
international
fee paye
Successfully secure a place on
full-time
undergraduate degree course in January or September 2026.
Enrol at BCU and begin your studies in
January or September
2026
Frequently asked questions:
The scholarship is available for full-time undergraduate degree courses, including the Graduate Entry LLB Law.
The following courses are excluded:
Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Acting and Music courses (see details of our
Music scholarships for 2026
Sub-degree courses, such as foundation year entry, foundation degrees (FdA/FdSc) and HNC/HND
Courses delivered by BCU partners (
BA Conductive Education
Fast-track/accelerated degrees
Part-time course
Professional Practice/CPD courses
Short courses (credit-bearing and non-credit-bearing)
Apprenticeships
Study abroad or exchange programmes
Pre-sessional English courses
We also offer
international scholarships for postgraduate students
if you are applying for a postgraduate course.
This scholarship is available for those joining Birmingham City University in
January or
September 2026.
There is no need to apply. You will automatically receive the scholarship
– applied as a tuition fee discount – if y
ou enrol on an eligible course.
If you apply for, and receive an offer for, an eligible course, you will see details of the scholarship in your offer letter.
If you
go on to enrol with us
, the discount will be applied to your tuition fee
invoice after enrolment.
Please note that you will still need to
pay 50% of the full tuition fee prior to
receiving your CAS
You can only receive one BCU scholarship. If you are eligible for more than one BCU scholarship, we will automatically award you the larger scholarship.
