Scholarships and Grants
Every accepted undergraduate CSM student is guaranteed a scholarship.
We believe investing in our students from day one. That’s why all accepted students enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program receive a renewable scholarship at the point of admission.
Note: Certificate and non-degree programs are not eligible for the merit scholarship guarantee.
Undergraduate Scholarships and Grants at CSM
Merit Scholarship
Merit Scholarship
Awarded based on your academic achievements. All first-time, full-time undergraduate students are
guaranteed a merit scholarship upon acceptance
. Merit scholarships for new students are renewable and range from $12,000 - $17,000 per year. (
Certificate and non-degree programs are not eligible for this scholarship.)
Athletic Scholarship
Athletic Scholarship
Recognize students who excel in athletics and contribute to CSM’s competitive sports programs. Award amounts vary by sport and performance. (
Certificate and non-degree programs are not eligible for this scholarship.)
Transfer Scholarship
Transfer Scholarship
For students joining CSM from another college, this scholarship is based on your cumulative transfer GPA, recognizing the effort, dedication, and success you’ve already achieved. Transfer scholarships are renewable and range from $12,000 - $15,000. (
Certificate and non-degree programs are not eligible for this scholarship.)
International Student Scholarship
International Student Scholarship
International students who do not have a High School or Transfer transcript from a U.S. school will be awarded an International Student Award of $12,000. International students are not eligible for other types of institutional aid. (
Certificate and non-degree programs are not eligible for this scholarship.)
Marie Curie Scholarship
Marie Curie Scholarship
Only for students accepted into the Biology, Chemistry, or Math programs.
A prestigious, $20,000/year scholarship for outstanding young women pursuing a career in STEM. Includes academic mentoring, research opportunities, and community engagement.
Ignite Your Future Grant
Ignite Your Future Grant
A need-based institutional grant for eligible undergraduate students at College of Saint Mary. To be considered, you must complete the FAFSA. Amounts vary based on individual financial need. The Ignite Your Future Grant
can
be combined with institutional scholarships.
Maggie McCubbin Mundy Family PNC Scholarship
Maggie McCubbin Mundy Family PNC Scholarship
Only for students in the Practical Nursing Certificate program.
The Maggie McCubbin Mundy Family Scholarship supports students pursuing a Licensed Practical Nursing degree who are passionate about caring for others in long-term and memory care settings. Awards up to $3,500 are available each year.
Institutional scholarships cannot be combined. In situations where multiple offers are received, College of Saint Mary will award the larger scholarship to provide the greatest amount of assistance to the student.
How To Apply for Scholarships & Grants
Most CSM scholarships don’t require a separate application. You’re automatically considered when you apply for admission.
Here’s how it works:
Apply to CSM to the program of your choice.
Submit your transcripts (and ACT/SAT scores if applicable).
Submit your FAFSA.
If applying for the
Marie Curie Scholarship
or the
Mundy Family PNC Scholarship
, submit separate application and materials.
Your scholarship & grant eligibility is determined based on academic achievements, GPA, and other factors.
If you’re accepted, your acceptance package will include your scholarship offer and award amount.
