Culture & Innovation
Expanding cultural awareness and taking the risk to try something new is promoted through the co-curricular program. Understanding the cultural diversity within our own school community, celebrating our diversity and embracing new ways of seeing the world enriches all of our lives. By learning about the traditions of different cultures such as dance, music, food and language, we're better able to understand our 'neighbours'; in school, in our local community and globally. Innovations such as using technologies for communications, entertainment and investigation provide Mercy girls with the skills and confidence to try things out and to see how information technology supports their development.
