Welcome to Kingham Hill
Kingham Hill is an independent, co-educational, day and boarding school for pupils aged 11-18, set in 100 acres of beautiful Cotswold countryside.
The best advertisements for a school are its children, and if you ask current parents why they chose Kingham Hill for their son or daughter, they invariably speak of the impression that friendly, happy, and well-balanced pupils made on them when visiting us.
We pride ourselves on our commitment to the individual. Every pupil is valued and encouraged to develop their own character and talents to the full. Confidence and maturity are nurtured by experienced academic and pastoral staff, in an atmosphere of opportunity and enquiry, with excellent structures of care.

Day and Boarding
Every pupil belongs to one of eleven houses that act as large, extended families. There are on average 15-40 pupils per house with a range of ages in each. We have four day and seven boarding houses which have their own inviting social lounges, games rooms and quiet rooms.

Sixth Form
The Sixth Form allows pupils to flourish and grow with a healthy balance of academics, throwing themselves into sports and activities whilst also serving others and leading with integrity and purpose. We want pupils to take ownership of their programmes whilst also supporting and challenging them along the way.

School History
In the early days, Kingham Hill was a self-sufficient community. The school had a working farm, school building, chapel, workshops, sanatorium and boarding houses. The Founder ensured that every child in his care learned to read and write, gained a trade and had the benefit of understanding the Christian faith.
