Denver Academy
(DA) will hold its annual fundraising gala, Suit Up & Get Down, on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
This year’s event is a throwback-prom-inspired evening taking place at the Upper Larimer event venue, located at 3034 Larimer St. in Denver’s RiNo Art District. Advanced registration is required. Denver Academy is an independent school serving students in grades 2-12 with varied learning profiles. Net proceeds from the gala benefit the Denver Academy Tuition Assistance Program, which supports nearly 30 percent of DA’s students.

Those invited to this special event included DA’s Board of Trustees, project partners, Founder and CEO Marco Campos, and other representatives from Campos Companies and Foundation, as well as DA SmartLab teachers, faculty, and staff, and DA High School parents.

The event also celebrated the completion of Denver Academy’s $25 million 50th Anniversary Building on Excellence capital campaign launched in 2016.

(DA), an independent school serving diverse learners, is proud to announce the opening of its new James E. Loan Athletic Center to be used by all students at the school in grades one through twelve.
A special ribbon-cutting and grand opening event was held at Denver Academy on Monday, May 6 for faculty/staff, friends and family of the school, and students attended a pep assembly the following day. The celebration marked the completion of the building, which began construction in May of 2018, and also the end of Phase One of DA’s two-phased Building on Excellence 50th Anniversary construction project and capital campaign.

) is honoring Denver Academy (

) with its prestigious Rozelle Founders Award for 2017.
The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday, October 3, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Denver Academy located at 4400 East Iliff Avenue in Denver.
Named for NCLD’s founders, Pete and Carrie Rozelle, the Rozelle Founders Award was established in 2000 to recognize schools for their excellence in meeting the learning and social/emotional needs of all students, including those with learning and attention issues. The award is intended to highlight the importance of classroom and school-wide teaching approaches and learning activities that incorporate best evidence-based practices.
