School of Basic and Applied Sciences organised a competition on “share our similarities and celebrate our cultural differences”. The event began with a welcome shloka sung by one of the students. Students gave performances as per the theme of the event by means of dancing, Singing and skit. Meghna Gangwar, a student of MA JMC performed a skit highlighting the prevalence of Western culture in India and won the 1st prize, while Swayam a BBA student sung a song and was conferred with the 2nd prize.

The Department of Forensic Science, SBAS, successfully organised FUSE 1.0 (Forensic Understanding and Scientific Exploration). The two-day event began with a lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by activities such as a treasure hunt and poster-making competition on Day One. Day Two featured a quiz competition, cultural performances, and an expert session by Dr. Suminder Kaur, Assistant Director of the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory, Delhi, where she shared her experiences in forensic DNA casework. The event concluded with a valedictory session, where Dr. Suminder Kaur awarded prizes to competition winners.

The two-day event began with a lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by activities such as a treasure hunt and poster-making competition on Day One. Day Two featured a quiz competition, cultural performances, and an expert session by Dr. Suminder Kaur, Assistant Director of the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory, Delhi, where she shared her experiences in forensic DNA casework.
