We're excited to announce the
Brendan J. '68 & Barbara A. Dugan Memorial Golf Outing
, honoring and celebrating the lasting legacy of two incredible people within the St. Francis College community, former SFC President Brendan J. Dugan ’68 & Edward Travaglianti ’70. Originally named in Brendan's honor in tribute to his love and devotion to the enduring Franciscan legacy of helping every student seeking a college education, we now fittingly pay tribute to Brendan's late wife Barbara in recognition of her contributions to SFC.
This year's outing will be held at the historic
Rockaway Hunting Club in Lawrence, New York
. While this is a new venue, the event remains the premiere fundraising event to benefit the students of St. Francis College. In keeping with the mission of the College, the proceeds from the Brendan J. '68 and Barbara A. Dugan Memorial Golf Outing will provide needed financial assistance to enable our students to pursue a high-quality private education at an attainable price point.
While the Brendan J. '68 and Barbara A. Dugan Memorial Golf Outing remains a golf event primarily, the change in venue offers SFC the opportunity to include an afternoon tournament for tennis and pickleball enthusiasts! If you enjoy tennis or the fast-growing sport of pickleball, and you haven't attended in the past, this year's event is for you!
