True Sky, RBFCU to Merge: Taking Flight Together!
The sky’s the limit for anyone seeking the credit union advantage with stability in service and financial soundness that reflects the people of Oklahoma and Texas. True Sky Federal Credit Union and Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union are
taking flight together!
As these two long-standing credit unions have agreed to merge, True Sky and RBFCU continue a commitment to the core beliefs that make credit unions stand apart from other financial institutions — more value, support, and the industry-leading products and services that both institutions have championed for more than 70 years. We combine our shared heritage in aviation with the spirit of people helping people, providing our members with an opportunity to truly soar.
True Sky Federal Credit Union
is located in Oklahoma City,
established in 1946
by the forerunner of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). While staying true to elements of the FAA mission, stressing
safety
and
efficiency
that flies high and carries the dreams of its members, True Sky has:
Spread its
branch presence
through Oklahoma City neighborhoods and the surrounding communities of Chandler, Davenport, Edmond, Midwest City, Newcastle and Norman, as well as the FAA Campus
Expanded its field of membership to community-assistance groups, education, health care services, individuals with the dreams and the passion of owning a small business, trade groups and treasured civic locations like the Oklahoma City Zoo
Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU)
is based in the San Antonio-area community of Live Oak,
established in 1952
on Randolph AFB. RBFCU has:
Carried a passion for credit union service to Austin in 1995, built its first branch in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 2014 and then moved into Corpus Christi in 2018, totaling
64 branches
by the end of 2025
Become recognizable with the bold stamp of its “star and contrails” brand, which stands as a symbol of financial strength and community involvement on behalf of more than 1.1 million members, with assets exceeding $19 billion
As these credit unions fully develop the details of this merger, True Sky and RBFCU won’t change the core services that made them trusted financial partners to their great memberships: member-first financial institutions built through personal service that adds convenience through secure technology, with a passionate community vision.
