UHCL at Pearland
University of Houston-Clear Lake at Pearland has been strengthening the educational
landscape of the greater Pearland area since 2010.
Located just off Pearland Parkway a few miles south of Beltway 8, UH-Clear Lake at
Pearland offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in areas such as education,
nursing and more. Undergraduate transfer students with more than 45 credit hours can
complete their bachelor's degrees in Pearland for select undergraduate programs.

UHCL at Pearland Degrees and Programs
With degree options that include business, behavioral science, education and nursing,
UHCL at Pearland offers a great educational opportunity for those living in the growing
Pearland area and adjoining communities, including students at other campuses. Since
2017, UHCL at Pearland has hosted Alvin Community College core classes, which are
transferrable to UHCL. Beginning in Fall 2024, students will have the opportunity
to earn their Master of Science in Nursing Education and Leadership at UHCL Pearland.

UHCL at Pearland Celebrates 15 Years of Community and Growth
The University of Houston-Clear Lake at Pearland marked its 15th anniversary on Thursday,
Sept. 18, with an evening that celebrated how far the campus has come and the community
that helped build it. The celebration featured the unveiling of a commemorative mural
created by UHCL alumna Elizabeth Umanzor ('19), a vibrant work symbolizing resilience,
growth and transformation. From the start, the evening underscored a central theme:
UHCL at Pearland was never built alone.

University of Houston-Clear Lake's MSN-Nursing Education and Leadership program is
customized for working nursing professionals. The MSN degree prepares graduates for
advanced roles in education and leadership in academic or clinical settings. Students
can choose from full-time and part-time course options and take classes any way you
like. Classes can be 100% online, Hyflex, or on-campus. Classes work around your busy
schedule and earn your degree at your own pace.

Intensive Outpatient Behavior Disorders Clinic
Free behavior reduction services are offered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays through
Friday at UHCL at Pearland.
Alvin Community College at UHCL at Pearland
Complete an associate degree in General Studies, Psychology, or Computer Information
Technology and transfer into a UHCL bachelor's program.
