Our Campuses
Two main campuses, one mission.
Danforth Campus
The Danforth Campus is the academic home for most undergraduate, graduate, and professional students at WashU. The 169-acre campus is bordered by Forest Park and the cities of St. Louis, Clayton, and University City.

Medical Campus
Spreading across 17 city blocks and 164 acres, the Medical Campus is home to the WashU School of Medicine and its affiliated hospitals, clinics, patient care centers, and research facilities. The Medical Campus is located in St. Louis’s vibrant Central West End.

Additional campuses
West Campus
The West Campus is home to university administrative offices and the West Campus Library. The basement houses the West Campus Library and the University Archives. The upper floors of the building house technology and a variety of administrative offices for the university.
South Campus
The South Campus includes athletic fields, a gymnasium, an auditorium/theater, and classroom facilities. Its primary use is for the university’s intramural and club sports programs. Community theater groups use the auditorium/theater. No academic classes are offered here.
North Campus
North Campus houses a variety of administrative functions for the university.
Tyson Research Center
Located 25 miles southwest of the Danforth Campus,
Tyson Research Center
is a 2,000-acre outdoor laboratory for learning and research.
