Bellarmine’s Black Student Union (BSU), in collaboration with the Mothers’ Guild and the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging, hosted its annual Cultural Celebration, bringing students and families together for an evening centered on identity, reflection, and community.
This year’s theme, “Through Our Eyes, Past, Present, Future,” invited attendees to honor the stories of earlier generations, reflect on present-day experiences, and consider the future of the Bellarmine community.
A highlight of the event was the recognition of graduating seniors, who were honored with stoles in celebration of their leadership and impact. In a message shared by BSU, student leaders reflected on the significance of the moment: senior members were recognized not only for their personal growth, but for creating spaces where others feel seen and supported.
The event underscored the role of student leadership in fostering belonging on campus and provided an opportunity for the community to come together in celebration.
Bellarmine extends its gratitude to BSU leaders and all who contributed to making the event a meaningful and memorable experience.
