A gift of stocks (or bonds) is an easy way for you to make a gift. By making a gift of your appreciated securities, you can avoid paying capital gains tax that would otherwise be due if you sold these assets. Here are some of the potential benefits:
No capital gains tax on donated securities
Receive a charitable income tax deduction
Enjoy possible increased income
Further the Parker mission today!
Once you have decided on the securities, you will transfer to Parker, complete and return the
authorization form
so that we can prepare an acknowledgment for tax purposes and properly steward your gift. Additionally, email the Advancement Office at
advancement@francisparker.org
to alert us of the transfer so we may follow up with you when the transfer is complete.
There are many benefits to utilizing a donor-advised fund.
You can fund it by irrevocably contributing assets such as cash or appreciated stock, and receive an immediate tax deduction.
There are two important ways that you can support Francis Parker School by utilizing a donor-advised fund: recommending grants or through a beneficiary designation.
During your lifetime, you may make grant recommendations from your donor-advised fund to support Parker.
When making a grant recommendation, please reference Francis Parker School's tax ID number:
95-1696720
We also ask that you clearly designate your gift to one of Parker's funds, such as Current-Use Professional Development and Salaries (Day of Giving); Current-Use Financial Assistance (Gala); or General Endownment.
Additionally, you may speak with the custodian of your fund to designate the School as a beneficiary of all or part of the fund’s assets, so that once the fund no longer has an advisor, these assets will be transferred to the School to further our mission.

A gift of your real property (such as your home, vacation property, vacant land, farmland or ranch or commercial property) can make a great gift to the School. If you own appreciated real property, you can avoid paying capital gains tax and receive a charitable income tax deduction by making a gift to us.
If you are interested in making a gift of real property or mortgaged property, please contact the Advancement Office at
advancement@francisparker.org
or call

Many employers offer a matching gift program to eligible employees. If you or your spouse works for a matching gift company, your gift to Parker may be doubled or tripled simply by completing a form that is available from your employer.
As a donor, you will be credited with the total contribution, including your corporate match. Not only does the size of your gift increase, but you will be recognized in the giving category of the combined donation amount (your gift and your company’s gift).
See whether your employer (or your spouse's) matches gifts.
For questions about submitting your matching gift, please email
advancement@francisparker.org
If you’re 70½ or older, you are eligible to make a tax-free charitable donation directly from your IRA. The donation counts toward your minimum required distributions.
Supporters of Parker from 18 to 88 choose to include the school in their will or trust. By including Parker in your will or trust, you can make a lasting impact as a member of Parker’s Legacy Club.
