Maclay School’s 100-acre campus is comprised of many academic buildings, outdoor spaces, athletic facilities, and performance spaces.
As the school’s educational and extracurricular needs are ever changing, the generous support of our community members has provided funding for needed updates to existing facilities and has allowed for the addition of new facilities to campus.
As an ambitious school, we are always listening to our students and watching where their interests are pushing them. Currently, the school has three priorities for investments in Capital Projects.  Each addresses an immediate need and long term needed strategic enhancement for the school’s facilities and programs.
Indoor Practice Facility
Academic Expansion
Performing Arts Expansion
Aquatics Center
The Indoor Practice Facility will provide a new, modern indoor space for various sports to use to train and practice.  This multi-use facility will have the capacity to house two basketball or volleyball courts, flexible training space for other outdoor sports, and can be utilized year-round by the school’s physical education programs.  The design process is currently under way for this facility which is slated to be completed in 2026.

Recent facility additions such as the Beck Family Innovation Center, Beck Family Research Center and Beck Family Center for Academic Excellence were built to transform the classroom experience on campus and provide facilities that meet the ambitions of our students and faculty.  These spaces have been transformational for what we are able to offer through our curriculum and for our students and we are excitedly moving forward with the school’s next academic expansion, which will include new classroom spaces for our Upper School students and our Math & AI Curriculum.
The Math & AI Classroom Expansion will provide new, state of the art classroom spaces for both Middle and Upper School Math students that will also house the school’s new curricular path within the area of Artificial Intelligence.
This project is in the last phase of funding, within the final $1 Million needed to make this exciting vision a reality for Maclay’s faculty and students.   To become involved, make a gift, or get more information, please contact the Advancement Office 850-893-8465 or

The experience of coming together to enjoy and be inspired by live performance and the creativity of our peers and community is a signature component of the Maclay performing arts program.  The planned expansion to performing arts spaces includes an outdoor performance pavilion that will provide spaces for students and performers of all ages to gather to enjoy live performance and outdoor assemblies.  This space will have lighting and sound capabilities, make it an engaging performance space for both our artists performing and for the community participating as patrons.
