Getting started
Create an account to begin your application. You can return at any time using your email and password to submit or update your information.

Determine your student type
First-year students
: High school graduates applying directly to college.
Transfer students
: Applicants with 12+ college credits.
International students
: Those on a student visa.
Non-degree seeking
: If you’re taking a few courses but not seeking a degree.
Some majors (e.g., Nursing, Education, Music) have extra application requirements.
North Park offers Direct Admission to its renowned nursing program for exceptional students.
Benefits:
Guaranteed admission to the nursing program by the third year
Specialized faculty mentorship and clinical opportunities during the first two years
Requirements:
Unweighted high school GPA of 3.75+
GPA of 3.50+ may be considered with ACT 27+ or SAT 1290+
Maintain a 2.75+ GPA at North Park and in science courses to keep admission

North Park accepts applications year-round. For the best chance at admission and financial aid, keep deadlines in mind.

3. Fill out and submit your FAFSA
File your FAFSA
Submit your FAFSA as soon as possible.

Illinois residents should apply by
February 1
to qualify for the Illinois MAP Grant.
4. Accept your offer
After you’re admitted, confirm your enrollment by setting up your network account and paying the $200 tuition deposit. This is necessary for receiving financial aid details, housing info, and class registration instructions.

Academic Standards
Test scores: Optional (may be used for scholarships or placement)
First-year: High school GPA required; writing sample and recommendation encouraged
Pass/Fail grades: Accepted if credit-bearing

2.50 unweighted
Transfer:
2.0 (with 12+ transferable credits)
