We are a high-ranking, international business school that offers foundation, bachelor’s, master’s and MBA programs, taught exclusively in English, in Barcelona, Geneva and Munich, as well as on our Digital Campus.

Our history

EU Business School (formerly European University) was founded in 1973 as a private higher educational institution.
1987

EU Business School opens a campus in
Geneva
, a global hub of international diplomacy, finance and luxury.
1989
1989
Continuing the drive to establish campuses in cosmopolitan cities with thriving business sectors, a new campus was established in
Barcelona
.
1991

Munich was selected for the next campus, thanks to its stellar reputation as an economic powerhouse of
Germany

1999

Dirk Craen acquired the institution, streamlining activities and pursuing professional accreditations for recognition in the corporate world and program development.

The school became a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

EU was accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) and the Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP), both recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

EU continued to gain more professional accreditations when it was recognized by CEEMAN IQA (Ceeman International Quality Accreditation).

A pioneer in online learning, EU founded its
Digital Campus
in order to offer a future-forward, innovative and adaptable academic experience across the globe.

In order to strengthen our business identity and in anticipation of changes in Swiss regulations, we changed our name to EU Business School. EU continued to expand its program range by partnering with University of Derby (UoD) in order to offer a state-accredited U.K. degree. EU gained certification from eduQua, the first Swiss quality label geared toward adult continuing education.
