This mission is implemented by a dynamic and distinguished faculty who along with our Provost, Dr. Cynthia Eve Aird, continue to ensure that our Mission, as well as our Vision and Values remain ever present while promoting excellence in our students who are the most vital stakeholders at Galen University.
Galen University remains committed to its vision of being “An internationally recognized, prestigious university promoting academic excellence, sustainable development, and lifelong learning.”  Our Values which include Student Centeredness, Quality, Integrity, Professionalism, and Innovation are upheld through a commitment to quality education at all levels.
The word Education is taken from the Latin words Educare and Educere which means to draw out or bring out.  At Galen our faculty seeks to create an environment that brings out the best in our students who like our mascot, the Harpy Eagle, will soar high in life and become true leaders and masters of their lives and lead the way as symbols of beauty, bravery, courage, honour, pride determination, grace and strength.
Our Board of Directors, Board of Trustees, Provost, Faculty, and indeed all of us here at Galen University are truly committed to ensuring that our students enjoy not only a great learning experience but are equipped with skills that will last a lifetime and embrace the challenge of making our beloved Belize a better place for all.
As President of Galen University, I wholeheartedly embrace the opportunity to lead this prestigious institution. I am humbled and honored for the opportunity to serve as President and I look forward with hope and optimism as we endeavor to ensure Galen University continues to play a pivotal role in the deliverance and advancement of higher education in our beloved Belize.
