About RRBMU
Raj Rishi Bhartrihari Matsya University (RRBMU), Alwar is a State Government University of Rajasthan. The establishment of the University was announced in the Budget Speech for the year 2012-13 by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan. The University was formally constituted through a Gazette Notification dated 23 August 2012 under the Matsya University Act, 2012 (Act No. 29).
Subsequently, the name of the University was changed to Raj Rishi Bhartrihari Matsya University, Alwar on 04 July 2014 vide State Government Notification No. 2(14) Vidhi/02/2014.
The University is located at Haldina, Malakhera, Alwar (Rajasthan). RRBMU has jurisdiction over more than 200 Government and Private affiliated colleges, offering a wide range of academic programmes at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels across all major streams. The University also offers professional and teacher education programmes such as B.Ed., B.Ed. (Special Education), M.Ed., BBA, BCA, and other courses.
