Research Excellence Framework
Swansea University is fully engaged with the Research Excellent Framework (REF) and provides relevant, up-to-date information on the REF process to colleagues and external stakeholders. The REF 2014 is the successor of the RAE 2008 and assesses research across Higher Education Intuitions (HEIs) in the UK. Through REF, the UK funding bodies develop and sustain a dynamic and internationally competitive research sector that makes a major contribution to economic prosperity, national wellbeing and the expansion and dissemination of knowledge.
