You must have a valid CUNY ID to borrow City College items.

CUNY/SUNY Libraries Inter-Campus Service (CLICS)
The CUNY Libraries Inter-Campus Service (CLICS) allows students, staff and faculty in good library standing to borrow materials from libraries anywhere within CUNY and SUNY (books only).

Return Policy
City College books may be returned to any City College library circulation desk, the Library drop box in the NAC, or any CUNY library.
1-day, 3-day and 7-day reserve books MUST be returned to the Library circulation desk where they were borrowed.
2-hour reserve items at the Cohen Library, the Music Library, the Science Library and the Architecture Library may be used outside the library.
Fines will be charged for reserve items returned to a different library or put in a drop box.
DVDs/videos, music scores and CDs must to be returned to the library where they were borrowed.
InterLibrary Loan items (ILL) MUST be returned to the Cohen Library Circulation Desk.
Fines
Overdue Policy Change
Beginning March 14, 2020, all CUNY libraries will suspend regular overdue fines and recall overdue fines. Reserve fines and lost item fines will remain.
Patrons with fines totaling over $25 will be issued a block on their CUNYfirst account. A block will prevent registration, graduation, requests for transcripts and borrowing privileges from any CUNY Library.
Fines are charged for each calendar day materials remain overdue.
Fines for general circulation books are $.25 per day for each day overdue.
Fines for videos/DVDs are $1.00 per day for each day overdue.
Fines for 2-hour reserve materials are $.10 per minute up to $50.00 (maximum fine).
Fines for calculators are $5 per day for each day overdue.
Fines for 3-day and 7-day reserve materials are $2.50 per day up to $50.00 (maximum fine).
Fines for ILL books are $1.00 per day for each day overdue
There is a $10 fine per item for not picking up ILL materials.
Lost Book/Item Fees
Patrons who have Lost Books/Items on their library record will have a block placed on their CUNYfirst account. Until cleared, the block will prevent registration, graduation, requests for transcripts and borrowing privileges from any CUNY Library.
The fees for Lost Books/Items are as follows:
$85 Lost Book/Item fee (this is the
minimum
amount; certain books are subject to a higher, current retail price)
$25 Processing fee
$20 Overdue fine
The Lost Item fee for calculators or DVDs is the current retail price.
