Water Well Licensing Board
oversees the licensing of well drilling professionals.
The DNREC
Well Permits Program
manages and issues well construction and use permits for wells that withdraw 50,000 gallons per day or less of water. The program also inspects wells and maintains data on the construction and status of all wells for which a well construction or use permit has been issued.
The Division of Water issues
licenses for the various professions
involved in designing, installing and maintaining on-site wastewater treatment and disposal systems.
All wastewater treatment facilities in Delaware must be operated under the direct supervision of a
Delaware Licensed Wastewater Operator
