Get a rare glimpse of a Vietnam-era Huey helicopter and meet the crew members who risked everything to save the lives of fellow soldiers.
THE SOUND OF A HUEY MEANT HOPE
Experience the legend and legacy of the Huey helicopter and the dangerous Dustoff missions that saved thousands of lives in Vietnam. The Museum features a Vietnam-era Huey as a permanent display.
Rails to Rotors Exhibit
Machinery and the Medal of Honor have a storied history. Get a close-up look into the Huey helicopter and the role machines play in Medal of Honor actions.
Dustoff: Coming to the Rescue
In this virtual reality experience, you will take part in a critical Dustoff medical mission. Will you safely rescue the wounded?

Story Showers
As you walk through the exhibit, you can step into audio showers of Huey crew members to hear about the historic impact of the helicopter in Medal of Honor actions.
Personal and Historic Artifacts
View one-of-a-kind artifacts from the Museum’s collection that reflect the service and legacy of Huey helicopter pilots, Bruce Crandall and Patrick Brady
Featured Recipient: Bruce Crandall
Bruce Crandall led repeated helicopter missions under intense enemy fire, evacuating wounded soldiers and delivering critical supplies despite extreme danger.
Featured Recipient: Patrick Brady
Patrick Brady flew multiple medevac missions through heavy fog and enemy fire, rescuing over 50 wounded soldiers in a single day.
