Before you Sign up for a New Student Orientation (NSO) session, please apply for admission
to ASU-Newport.

Is a student orientation session mandatory?
New Student Orientation sessions are highly encouraged for all first-time entering
students. Students will be able to get their class schedule, student id cards, learn
about resources for student success, academic support resources, and much more!
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are approximately two (2) hours).
What do I wear to orientation?
Dress comfortably! Participants will have the option to take a tour of the campus.
Can I bring loved ones with me to the New Student Orientation session?
Yes! Absolutely! We welcome loved ones: they are a part of your support team!
