The Walk-in Clinic at ANMC is open 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday and is available for non-emergent health care needs.

Emergency Services Expansion Update – April 9, 2026
Basement and Level 1 drywall, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations are in progress. Air Handler Units are being prepped for connection at level 3. Hanger installation for ceiling infrastructure is ongoing on Levels 1 and 3. Brick demolition is ongoing at the east side of level 3 on the existing hospital.

Initiatives at ANTHC
Western Alaska Disaster Relief
Many western Alaska communities were devastated by Typhoon Halong. The Healthy Alaska Natives Foundation, Bethel Community Services Foundation, and Alaska Community Foundation have established the Western Alaska Disaster Relief Fund to support immediate relief and long-term recovery efforts for impacted families and communities.
Emergency Services Expansion
ANTHC has begun construction on a multi-year Emergency Services expansion project. Get the latest updates, including how construction may impact campus parking, entrances and walkways.
Water and Wellness
ANTHC is partnering with communities throughout the state to improve the availability of and ease of access to water and to increase wellness for more Alaska Native people.
Short-Term Skilled Nursing Facility
Construction of the 78-bed, 92,000-square-foot, short-term skilled nursing facility is expected to be completed in the summer of 2026. The facility will also house an occupational rehabilitation area, public and private dining areas, a chapel, game and activity rooms, and an outdoor courtyard.
