NIEHS video content is delivered using the YouTube embedded player, which supports HTML5 playback across all modern desktop browsers and mobile devices (iOS & Android).
All embedded videos are streamed securely over HTTPS.
Please Note
Volume Issues
If you are experiencing low or no volume:
Ensure your computer or device volume is turned up and not muted.
Check the YouTube player volume by hovering over or tapping the video and adjusting the speaker icon in the upper-right corner of the YouTube player.
Confirm that your system audio output (e.g., headphones, speakers) is set correctly.
Playback Issues
The YouTube player automatically adjusts video quality based on your network bandwidth.

Select Quality and choose a higher or lower resolution depending on your preference and network conditions.
