Earlier this week, our Upper Division community gathered for a meaningful Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) assembly. We are incredibly proud of the students from our Jewish Student Union who organized this powerful program and were joined by Cantor Alisa Fineman of Congregation Beth Israel. It was an honor to hear them share moving stories of family members affected by the Holocaust and to remind us of all of our responsibility to remember.

2026 Dormer Coaches Award 🏴☠️
Justin Clymo `93 and the athletics department (@rls_sports), alongside the Dormer and McNeely families, were honored to present the 2026 Don L. Dormer Coaches’ Award to Coach Nick Wilcox—recognizing a legacy of leadership defined by consistency, accountability, and care.
Presented in honor of Don Dormer Sr. ’71—former trustee and former chairman of the Board—this award celebrates a coach who inspires athletes to reach their highest potential while fostering a lasting appreciation for the game.
Coach Wilcox has built a program rooted not just in results, but in habits. In preparation. In the way his athletes show up for themselves and for each other. Year after year, his teams compete at the highest level—but more importantly, they grow. They think. They respond. They carry themselves with purpose.
His players speak to the balance he brings—high expectations paired with unwavering support. A coach who challenges them to improve daily, while helping them believe in who they can become—on and off the field.
Under his leadership, Stevenson Baseball has reached new heights—league championships, deep CCS runs, and the program’s first CCS title, followed by another championship and a NorCal run. But what matters most is how it’s been built: with integrity, discipline, and heart.
Thank you, Coach Wilcox, for the standard you set and the impact you make each day.
Go Pirates! 💚
