Overview
Bachelor in Business Administration or BBA is one of the most popular bachelor degree programmes after class XII. It is a three-year professional undergraduate course in Business Management. The course is designed in such a manner that it educates graduates with important skills like critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
The course is open to students from all three streams viz. Arts, Commerce and Science. And the minimum eligibility condition is 50 per cent in 10 + 2 level. The curriculum focuses on general business, specialised business and liberal arts subjects. It includes instruction in management theory, human resources management, accounting, purchasing and logistics, organisation and production, marketing and business decision making. In addition to intensive classroom learning, the programme also focuses on grooming students for real-world business skills. These skills include confidence, personal effectiveness, knowledge and expertise. Equipped with these skills graduates excel in all types of organisations and companies.
At GIET University, BBA has several specialisation branches. These are Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, IT and Systems, Supply Chain Management, Entrepreneurship, Rural Management, Digital Marketing and Data Analytics. The curriculum offers a blend of the latest theories, concerns in business along with hands-on experience of real-life corporate functioning. The focus is also on project work, seminars, practical studies, workshops, internships and extracurricular activities which helps students to gain confidence and at the same time hone their soft skills. The course intends to produce talented individuals who emerge not just as managers but effective leaders as well.
After successful completion of the course, students can opt for higher education most notably a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Or they can choose to explore job opportunities in various industries like business consultancies, banking, advertising, real estate management, etc.

Eligibility
The final examination of the 10+2 Arts/Commerce/Science (Minimum 50%) system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE, New Delhi) or anyother equivalent board recognized by Govt of India.
Applicants appearing for their class XII final board examinations from any of the following boards:
CHSE, CBSE, ICSE & Any State Board.
