Building on its legacy of educating Massachusetts’ top nurses for 50 years, the
Curry College School of Nursing and Health Sciences (SNHS)
is proud to announce the launch of the Associate of Science in Nursing Program. The College will now welcome students looking to pursue their Associate of Science in Nursing degree via ASN and LPN-RN pathways beginning in the fall of 2026.
“This additional nursing education option makes Curry Nursing one of the most comprehensive programs in New England. Having an ASN option strengthens our program offerings and expands the pathways available to students who are passionate about pursuing a career in nursing,” said Dr. Michelle McMahon, Dean of the Curry College School of Nursing and Health Sciences.

The Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing approved Curry College’s application to offer the ASN program on April 8, 2026. A recent agreement to transition Labouré College of Healthcare’s nursing programs to Curry’s SNHS will establish the Labouré Center for Advancing Healthcare Opportunities at Curry College. Labouré’s ASN programs are the largest and longest-running associate-level nursing programs in Boston, and this new Center will continue the legacy of delivering the access, resources, and support Labouré provided to its student population for so many years.

“This new programming reflects Curry College’s commitment to carrying forward the legacy of Labouré College of Healthcare. We are incredibly proud to be the next stewards to continue Labouré's long-standing tradition of educating local adults, many who are English Language Learners, currently working in healthcare, and seeking future RN roles,” added Dean McMahon.
“With the associate degree joining our long-standing baccalaureate and master’s programs, Curry Nursing is better positioned than ever to support the local and regional nursing workforce by preparing nurses at every stage of their professional journey."
In addition to the new ASN program, the Curry College School of Nursing and Health Sciences offers the following options: BS in Nursing, BS in Exercise Science, BS in Public Health, RN-BS in Nursing, Accelerated 2nd Bachelor’s in Nursing (ACCEL), Master of Science in Nursing, Accelerated Master of Science in Nursing (AE-MSN), and Perioperative 101.
